Gardens are often associated with an aesthetic expression of beauty and a civilised life. This expression can bring joy and pride to the owner and to the viewer. At a large scale, in public areas such as a park in a city or a botanic garden, the city or state takes good care of the precinct for the benefits it provides to the general well-being of the citizen as a place to relax, walk and for visual enjoyment of the garden.
The Rotary Club of Mudgee aims to promote gardening in Mudgee through an annual Garden Show. The 2018 Show will be the first time this event has been run in the Mudgee Region. The Show will demonstrate many beautiful, privately developed gardens around Mudgee and surrounding areas, allowing the owners the share the pleasure and the tranquillity of their gardens while raising funds for charitable causes.
The Rotary Club of Mudgee is pleased that the CWA Evening branch has joined with us to collaborate on this project. The show is named Mudgee Garden Spectacular.
